Professor Celeste Roberge completes sculpture commission in Virginia

School of Art + Art History Professor Celeste Roberge recently completed the installation of a steel and stone sculpture, Walking Cairn, at a private outdoor sculpture collection in Upperville, Virginia. The five-day installation by the artist of took place on location in Virginia in mid September 2015. The large outdoor sculpture collection includes works by Jaume Plensa, Alice Aycock, Santiago Calatrava, Deborah Butterfield, Joel Shapiro and Beverly Pepper, to name a few. Roberge is now working on a commission for a client in San Francisco to be completed in early 2016. Visit, to learn more about her work.
