Discover Project WeShore: MFA, Design & Visual Communications Project

Join Marjorie Shropshire (MFA, DVC 2020) and Vincent Encomio (UF/IFAS) to discover WeShore, a collaborative design project that explores homeowner barriers to incorporating living shorelines into waterfront landscapes and the design framework which can best address these concerns.

The project uses co-design to bring people with a variety of knowledge and life experiences together as active participants in the design process.

Vincent and Marjorie will discuss living shorelines, the origins of WeShore, and how the project can help different groups—homeowners, restoration professionals, contractors, and nature—come together in a mutually beneficial collaboration.

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
