Jenny E. Goelz is the Production Manager and Lecturer in Stage Management at the University of Florida, School of Theatre + Dance. Before joining SoTD, she served in a similar capacity as Production Manager and Stage Management Advisor at the University of Arizona, School of Theatre, Film & Television.
As a freelance Stage Manager, Jenny has supported the creation of new and established work in the areas of dance, theatre, opera and multi-disciplinary performance, both nationally and internationally. Her dance stage management credits include Mikhail Baryshnikov’s Hell’s Kitchen Dance NYC premiere at the Baryshnikov Arts Center and international tour (featuring work by choreographers Aszure Barton, Benjamin Millepied and Donna Uchizono), the company debut of Jessica Lang Dance at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, and work with companies Dance Heginbotham and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet. She has also stage managed the national and international tours of Itzhak Perlman’s Eternal Echoes: Songs and Dances for the Soul, Mikel Rouse's The End Of Cinematics and Dennis Cleveland, and The Baseball Music Project featuring Baseball Hall of Famer Dave Winfield. Additional regional credits include Eugene Opera’s Nixon in China, Harry Partch's Delusion of the Fury produced by NYC Japan Society and The Tempest at The Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
She has served as Associate Producer for ArKtype, Interim Project Manager for DanceMotion USA at Brooklyn Academy of Music, Managerial Associate and Tour Manager with IMG Artists’ NYC touring and dance division, Production Manager for The University of Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and Engagement Programs Director at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
Jenny holds an MFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association.
